The invention relates to a housing component for hydraulic systems especially for automobile brake systems. Said housing contains at least one connection channel in which a threaded insert is arranged for receiving a tubing end or the like or for installing a valve, a sealing plug or the like. The inventive housing component (1) is characterized in that it is cast out of plastic or a light metal alloy in such a way that the threaded insert (2) is integrated therewith. In addition, said housing component has a sealing surface (4, 5, 6) in the area where the smaller diameter of the channel increases to the larger inner diameter (D) of the threaded insert (2). During assembly, an opposing sealing surface of the tubing, the valve, the sealing plug or the like can be pressed against said sealing surface.
