PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in durability of a recording head arising from excessive use of any one of specific nozzles by equalizing frequency in use of every nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Images in high gradation are formed by making ink droplets from a plurality of ink ejection ports provided to a recording head 1 shot approximately onto the same position on a material 2 whereon the recording is made. In execution of the above-mentioned operation, the images are formed in accordance with regulations for driving of ink ejection that are determined beforehand for each of the gradations so that frequency in use of the ejection ports for obtaining each of necessary gradations is equalized. Thereby deterioration in durability of the recording head arising from excessive use of any one of specific nozzles can be prevented. |
