VORTEX GENERATOR FOR CENTRIFUGAL POWDER CONCENTRATOR

The vortex generator is designed to enrich the powder-gasmixtrue in the combustion of high ballast-containing coal and canbe used in the power industry. It offers opportunities for thesimultaneous revolving of the blades at equal angles so thatminimum tension would arise in the blade axles and the bevel gearsfitted to them thus avoiding the effect of temperaturedeformations on the kinematic freedom of the components and theunwanted abrasive wear. The vortex generator consists of a housing(1) in which a hollow splitter (2) and radially fitted blades (6)on the axles (5) of which, in the interior of the splitter (2)bevel gear sectors (7) are fitted simultaneously meshing to acrown gear (8). Crown gear (8) is fixed to a central shaft (9)which is connected to the driving shaft (11) by an intermediateshaft (12) and two mobile connectors (13).
