The end planks each contain an opening extending at right angles to the pallet length direction and capable of receiving fastener plates belonging to pallet claws. This enables the claws to be mounted one inside the other in the cross-direction and divide the surface of a large pallet into two smaller pallet load surfaces. A stable intermediate wall is formed across the middle of the large pallet as the plates are lowered into the openings. |
