<p>Manufacture can be automated and comprises less constituent components, including four components (1-4) consisting of two half-casings (1,2), forming a casing, reel (4), and crank handle (3). Measuring tape has housing (30) containing rotating bobbin (4) which receives a windable metre tape, crank handle mounted to rotate on external face of casing which enables rewinding of tape. Handle has an annular section with internal gear, and the reel has an external gear (8). The casing part has device which permits fixing of bobbin and handle, enabling engagement between annular section gear with external gear.</p> |
