摘要 <p>The arrangement has a frictional clutch (3) in the torque transmission path, a controllable engine (1) power setting arrangement (9), especially a fuel injection pump system and an engine power controller (11) which responds to the accelerator pedal (15). A clutch position sensor (41, 41') generates a signal representing the clutch position when the clutch is in the position for maximum torque transfer capability. A slip sensor arrangement (43, 45) detects the clutch slippage state. A slip controller (39) responsive to the sensor signals reduces the engine power or torque when slip is detected with the clutch in the coupled position.</p>
