PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a document from being deviated when a transfer plate is retreated, by forming the document pressing surface of the transfer plate abutting on the trailing edge of the document so that it is inclined almost in parallel with the stopper part of a document set stopper. SOLUTION: When a document returned to a document placing plate 21 is transferred to a set position, the leading edge thereof is made to abut on the stopper part 231 of the document stopper 23. At this time, since the document pressing surface 922 of the transfer plate 90 is formed almost in parallel with the inclined surface of the stopper part 231, the upper-side document is not deflected. When the document returned to the placing plate 21 is transferred to the prescribed set position by actuating a document transfer means 85, a pressuring plate 32 is positioned at a pressuring position by actuating a document pressure means 30 so as to press the upper surface of the document transferred to the set position. Thus, the upper-side document is not deviated when the plate 90 of the transfer means 85 is retreated toward a home position. |
