PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate input operation, in response to the fraction received from a customer and to prevent easy occurrence of mis-entry, when a deposited amount is inputted as input of a fraction which is less than∥10,000 in a registering mode of∥10,000 notes. SOLUTION: A total sales amount is calculated by a total amount calculation means (S2). When registering of∥10,000 note is declared and also a fraction key is depressed, an effective digit number is set for each depression of the fraction key (S14) and an amount less than∥10,000 equivalent to a prescribed effective digit number is handled as a deposited amount among those amounts, which are calculated by the total amount calculation means (S15). Meanwhile, the deposited amounts which are set in steps for each depression of the fraction key are displayed in sequence (S16). Therefore, the registering is not necessary for a prescribed effective digit number less than∥10,000, and also the input of a deposit amount corresponding to the fraction received form a customer is attained simply by the depression of the fraction key only. Thus, the input operation is facilitated, and the occurrence of mis-entry is prevented.
