PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form the synthesized speeches approximate to natural speeches by deforming and connecting the synthesized speech phonemes in compliance with the rhythms of templates which are the same in a mora number and accent type. SOLUTION: The rhythm template, pitch template and power template are selected from the mora number and accent type of words. When special syllables are included in the pronunciation in phonetic symbols, the rhythm template is adjusted by multiplying the length of their section by a correction coefft. The lengths of the vowels of the phonemes are so deformed that the intervals of the syllable listening timing points of the respective syllables coincide with the intervals instructed by the rhythm template. The pitch frequencies deform the pitch frequencies of the vowel-consonantvowel chain(VCV) phoneme so as to meet the selected pitch temlate and the power deforms the waveform amplitude by each of the syllables of the synthesized speeches. The deformed phonemes are connected by obliquely adding the same in a range of 1 to several pitches. Namely, the synthesized speech phonemes are deformed and connected in compliance with the rhythms of the templates with which the molar number and the accent type coincide. |
