摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the cause for the seed of a dendrite crystal which results in short life and to improve reliability by connecting multiple cellophane films with a viscose impregnated in natural fiber paper as an adhesive. SOLUTION: Multiple cellophane films are joined to form a separator, and viscose is impregnated in natural fibers for connection. The xanthogenic acid cellulose characteristic of the viscose is scarcely broken, and the separator is superior in ion permeability in an electrolyte and electrochemical durability. The separator suited for a nickel-zinc secondary battery has multiple layers with viscose used as an adhesive layer, and the cellophane film separator has successfully a long life which has been unavailable in the past and contributes greatly to the characteristics improvement in the battery. Rayon paper is used for the natural fiber paper, and the viscose preferably contains an amphoteric compound.
