PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the creep deformation and sintering of an electrode during a power generating operation by forming a pole plate with a porous sintered body with a structure stacked with many flat grains. SOLUTION: A porous sintered body forming a pole plate has a structure stacked with many flat grains 1, and pores 2 are formed between the flat grains 1. Since this pole plate has a structure stacked with flat grains 1 into a layered shape, it shows superior creep resistance. The pore area of the pole plate can be increased with such a crude fiber, the contact area with a fuel gas and an electrolyte is increased, and the fuel cell performance (voltage output) is increased. Since the flat grains can be kept in face contact with each other, the grains can be prevented from being eluted during a fuel cell operation, thereby high fuel cell performance can be maintained over a long period. |
