<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically switch on-line and standby without using a changeover dedicated signal line. SOLUTION: A pair of stations 6a and 6b respectively connected to a common information terminal 8 are connected to the transmission line 5 of a network and applied to this duplex system for which one of the pair of the stations 6a and 6b is turned to on-line for indicating an operation state to the information terminal 8 and the other is turned to standby for indicating a standby state to the information terminal 8. Then, the respective stations 6a and 6b mutually transmit and receive information through the transmission line 5 and the on-line and standby of the stations 6a and 6b are switched based on the transmitted and received information.</p> |
