<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a cassette tape player by using mechanisms transmitting driving forces to a pair of reel bases in a forward side and a reverse side in common to reduce the number of parts of the player. SOLUTION: A pair of capstans 41F, 41R and a pair of reel bases 42F, 42R are respectively provided at the forward side and a reverse side. A low-speed gear 48 is provided on the capstan 41F of one side and a high-speed gear 49 is provided on the capstan 41R of other side and reel gears 50F, 50R are provided on respective reel bases 42F, 42R. A transmission switching device 51 is provided, with which a driving force is transmitted from the low-speed gear 48 to the reel gears 50F, 50R corresponding to running directions at the time of a forward running and a reverse running and a driving force is transmitted from the high-speed gear 49 to the reel gears 50F, 50R corresponding to feeding directions at the time of a fast-forwarding and a fast-rewinding.</p> |
