<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable only a specified party to read character information even when it is sent to plural parties by generating a water mark corresponding to a keyword, embedding the desired character information to be enciphered and embedded into image data while synthesizing it with the water mark, and transmitting such image data. SOLUTION: A digital camera and an image transmitter/receiver 1 with enciphered message are connected and images are fetched through an input circuit 3 into an image storage means 4. A price or the like is inputted by a character input means 6. The character information is sent through a character storage means 9 and the keyword is sent through a keyword storage means 8 to a water mark circuit 11. At this circuit, the result synthesizing the required water mark and character information is inserted to image data. At the destination to send, the water mark circuit 11 identifies and displays the presence/ absence of the water mark in the received image. When there is the water mark, a special member inputs a required keyword and through required operation, the water mark circuit 11 reads the enciphered message and displays it on a character display means 10.</p> |
