PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the filling and using of noncaptive toner by providing a locking member held with the respective engaging parts of outer and inner cylinders in the position where a toner supplying port is closed with the inner cylinder, between the inner and outer cylinders. SOLUTION: The toner cartridge consists of an outer cover 2 as the outer cylinder, a toner tank 3 as the inner cylinder which is coaxially and freely fitted into the outer cylinder and the locking member 4 provided between the outer cover 2 and the toner tank 3. When the toner supplying port is closed, the locking member 4 is held by the locking pawl 11 of the toner tank 3 and the projection 13 of the outer cover 2. Further, the locking member 4 is held by the projection 10 of the toner tank 3 and the locking pawl 14 of the outer cover 2. In other words, when the toner supplying port is closed, the end faces 4a and 4b of the turnable locking member 4 butt against the locking pawl 14 and projection 13 of the outer cover 2 respectively to inhibit the turning of the tank 3 with respect to the outer cover 2, even if the tank 3 is turned in the direction of an arrow B or C. |
