PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the housing of a mounting connector from being inclined by the addition of an external force such as twisting to the mounting connector and solve the trouble of the housing being slipped out from a mounting bracket by providing an inclination preventing means for preventing the inclination of the housing on the mounting bracket for holding the housing. SOLUTION: Even if an external force such as twisting accompanying the attachment and detachment of a cable connector connected to a reverse housing, the reverse housing is brought into contact with the side end surface of an inclination preventing piece 5 and prevented from being inclined on the short- hand direction side thereof. Since the inclination preventing piece 5 of a mounting connector mounting bracket 1 is raised to a height substantially equal to the upper end surface of the reverse housing, the inclination of the reverse housing can be suppressed within an extremely small range. Thus, no external force such as twisting acts on elastic engaging claws provided on both end parts of the reverse housing, and the projection parts of the elastic engaging claws inserted to and engaged with the engaging holes 4 of a base plate 2 in the mounting connector mounting bracket 1 are thus never slipped out from the base plate 2.
