PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the laboriousness, such as error in reading on a display and to improve operability by providing the terminal with a function to enlarge and display the character strings instructed by an operator. SOLUTION: A personal computer communication host 101 executes the information transmission to the terminal by a communication network. An input section 102 transmits input information to the terminal and a communication processing control section 103 controls the information from the personal computer communication host 101. A data signal receiving section 104 receives the data transmitted from the personal computer communication host. A display management section 105 controls the window display for enlarging the characters. A memory section 106 stores the character codes of the display management section 105 and a display device 107 displays the data received from the personal computer communication host. Namely, the data sent from the personal computer communication host 101 by the input information from the input section 102 is received by the data receiving section 104 of the communication processing control section 103 and is displayed on the display section 107. The display management section 105 magnifies the character strings selected from the data received by the data receiving section 104 and displays the same at the window.
