PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotated image in a short time without performing an interpolating process by dividing a block of a source image to be rotated into rectangular areas and rearranging the divided rectangular areas, and thus obtaining the rotated image of the source image. SOLUTION: A copy source block position calculating process circuit 700 calculates the position of the block on the source image 100. A rectangular area generating process circuit 800 divides the block into up to four rectangular areas at the position obtained by the rectangular area generating circuit 800. A copy destination block position calculating process circuit 900 calculates the position of the block on the rotated image 1100. A rectangular area copying process circuit 1000 copies the image from the source image 100 to the rotated image 1100 in the rectangular area units generated by the rectangular area generating process circuit 800. Namely, the source image 100 is divided into the rectangular areas, which are rearranged to obtain the rotated image 1100. Loop control circuits 600 to 650 repeatedly obtain rotated images through those processes. |
