摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the preservability, anti-offsetting property and low energy fixability and to form a stable image over a long period of time by adding an amine to the surfaces of toner particles contg. novolak or novolak resin having a specified m.p. or softening point as well as a bonding resin and a colorant. SOLUTION: An amine is added to the surfaces of toner particles contg. novolak or novolak resin having <=150 deg.C m.p. or softening point as well as a bonding resin such as styrene or chlorostyrene resin and a colorant such as magnetite or ferrite as essential components to obtain the objective toner for developing an electrostatic charge image. The novolak or novolak resin is, e.g. a polynuclear body of novolak such as a binuclear body, an ortho-ortho bonded body of novolak or an isomer of novolak and the shape is fine powder, amorphous or flaky. The amt. of the novolak or novolak resin in the toner particles is preferably 3-30 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the bonding resin.</p>
