The input member being connectable to another element of the summing gear set to provide a second path between the input member and the summing gear set. The summing gear set includes a driven member drivable by at least one further element of the summing gear set and drive transmitting means connectable between the output element of the variable speed transmission and the other element of the summing gear set.
