PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the operation burden on an operator and to accurately perform various processings by specifying symbols and a trimming area on a black-and-white image drawn on a form paper directly with a color and then reading the image on the form paper by an image reader. SOLUTION: The operator 23 writes various symbols 22 on a two-dimensional drawing 21 such as a map drawn in black and white on the form paper by using, for example a color pen. Then the form 20 having the color symbols 22 written on the two-dimensional drawing 21 is read by the color image reader 24. Two-dimensional image data consisting of three stimulation values of R, G, and B read by the color image reader 24 are separated by a color conversion part 25 and a layer separation part 26 into color two-dimensional image data 27 corresponding to symbols 22 of only the three primary colors Y, M, and C and black-and-white two-dimensional image data 28 corresponding to the two-dimensional image 21 such as the map and then written in different areas 29a and 29b of an image memory 29 respectively. |
