PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise generation device capable of quickly generating a good quality normal random number(RN) noise while suppressing the increase of hardware. SOLUTION: An RN sequence of 72 bits is generated by a uniform RN generator 100 and rearranged by a rearranging circuit 110 to generate six 12-bit RN strings MS0 to MS5. An exclusive OR operation part 130 finds out EXOR between a 12-bit RN string ES2 generated from an EX string generator 120 and each of bits of the RN strings MS0 to MS5 and outputs an RN string MOUT in which all '1's are properly distributed and uniformity and normality are guaranteed, thus a 72-bit RN string MOUT is obtained. A carry save adder(CSA) tree constituted of a CSA executes adding processing for the RN string MOUT outputted from the operation part 130 and a full adder 150 finally obtains a 10-bit normal distribution RN string NS1. |
