PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably crimp electric wires to form a prescribed shape even if the wife is thick, and to decrease the difference of crimping width of terminals so as to be certainly inserted and locked in a terminal accommodation chamber of a connector, when two or more electric wires are crimped in one terminal at the same time. SOLUTION: A crimping method comprises pushing electric wires 3, 3' between a pair of barrels 61 ', 62 ' by a wire presser 16, and crimping a terminal and the electric wires by caulking the electric wires by a crimper 7 to be enveloped with the barrels while overlapping one barrel with the other barrel. Before the caulking of the barrels by the crimper 7, the positions of the electric wires between the pair of barrels are controlled to secure an entry-permitting space in which a tip 6a' of one barrel enters into the lower side of the other barrel 62 '. |
