A compact, hand-operable stand for quickly and easily elevating one end of a motorcycle, including (i) a longitudinally elongated base assembly with a f oot plate extending from one end, (ii) a mounting assembly pivotably attached base assembly, and (iii) a support assembly secured to the mounting assembly for pivo ting in combination with the mounting assembly between a clearance position and a suppor t position. The mounting assembly bears against the base assembly when pivoted int o the support position and includes multiple sires where the support assembly can be a ttached to the mounting assembly so as to permit the distance between the support assemb ly and the base assembly to be changed.
