PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely scrape toner which remains/flocculates/sticks on the surface of a developing roller, without contributing to the development of a latent image formed on a photoreceptor drum by attaining stable slidable contact with the surface of the developing roller in a wide area. SOLUTION: A elastically deformable metallic plate 15 is provided to cover the opening part 12 of a developer container and come into slidable press-contact with the surface of the developing roller 13 by a fixed peripheral length over the entire width, plural holes are provided in the metallic plate 15 and it is disposed in such a manner that it is supported/fixed at two places on the upstream and downstream sides in the rotational direction of the developing roller 13. It is constituted so that the developer 14 remaining on the surface of the developing roller 13, without being contributed is scraped by the edge in which the holes are formed of the metallic plate 15 coming into slidable press-contact with the developing roller 13, to be returned into the developer container 9 and a fresh developer 14 is supplied to the developing roller 13 from the holes of the metallic plate 15 located on the downstream side in the rotational direction of the developing roller 13. |
