<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an effective changeover of a line concentration control function by switching a line concentration control method by a load connected to a common signal line provided for each input line, a detection means for identifying the number of input lines by a delay time of signal to be carried to the common signal line and a detected number of lines. SOLUTION: An output line selection part 6 selects an arbitrary number of input line and successively reads out by the cell information accumulated in cell input buffer memories 3-1 to 3-N selected by cell read-out control parts 4-1 to 4-N in order of storage. The number of the optimal search blocks corresponding to the number N of input lines and the number of search channel are calculated in advance, which is stored in a table memory of an output line selection part 6, and the time of input lines are automatically detected. A cell read out rides a multiplex bus 5 and is written in a cell buffer memory 7. An output line corresponding part 8 puts information read out from the cell buffer memory 7 on a communication information area and outputs it to an output line 9.</p> |
