PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten transfer time and to reduce the burden of line cost by indicating the storage pointer of a head packet emitting abnormality in a perti nent buffer at the time of abnormal reception. SOLUTION: A transfer control part 22 stores data in an idle transfer buffer 24, transfers it to a reception device and retransmits data after the indicated storage pointer in the transfer buffer 24 when the response of the abnormal reception of data is received. A transfer buffer control part 23 sets the transfer buffer 24 in an idle state when the response is normal reception, and indicates the pointer of the head packet of abnormal reception in the buffer 24 when the response of abnormal reception is received. A reception control part 26 makes the response of abnormal reception at the time of abnormal reception and stores data which is retransmitted after the indicated storage pointer in the corresponding reception buffer 28. A reception buffer control part 27 sets the reception buffer which is reception-processed in the idle state and indicates the storage pointer of the head packet of abnormal reception in the pertinent buffer 28 at the time of abnormal reception.
