PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily update source data through the data base of an information magazine when the information magazine is revised, or the like by recognizing the positions of text boxes included in respective articles, allocating what the item of each box is, and specifying one box as a key box. SOLUTION: Which position in a document 51 an article is at and where a text box and an image box are in the article, are recognized. What item each box has, is allocated and one of boxes is specified as the key box. Then, the key box is used as a key to retrieve articles one after another. Each time an article is retrieved, the text box having a desired item is retrieved and the text data are read out of the retrieved text box and registered in a text data base 13. Thus, text data are managed in the data base and an information magazine can be reedited according to the data. |
