PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an induction motor which permits smooth and optimum acceleration and deceleration and can raise the productivity. SOLUTION: A controller of an induction motor, which has an inverter device for rotating an induction motor at an optional speed, is equipped with an operation information setting means 10 which sets inverter parameters such as acceleration/deceleration time, acceleration/deceleration rate adjustment start level, acceleration/deceleration rate adjusting gain, etc., an operation information recording means 11 which records the information being set with this operation information setting means 10, a first acceleration/deceleration rate making means 12 which makes the rate of acceleration/deceleration, according to the quantity of an output current and the DC voltage of a main circuit, a second acceleration/deceleration rate making means 14 which makes the rate of acceleration/deceleration according to the inclination of the output current and the DC voltage of the main circuit, a controller 15 which controls the output of the these first and second acceleration/deceleration rate making means 12 and 14, and an output velocity control means 7 which controls the drive velocity of the induction motor, based on the decided acceleration/deceleration rate and the velocity command given from outside. |
