PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pulse source of a stabilized repetitive frequency for being effective to the optical pulse source provided with any high repetitive frequency, and minimizing the increase of noise by an electronic circuit. SOLUTION: A part of an optical pulse string from a laser resonator 100 is branched by a branching mirror 102 and bisected further by the branching mirror 103, and one of pulse strings is passed through a waveform shaping device 105, propagated through an optical delay line 1.06 for supplying delay equal to the integral multiple of a pulse repetition cycle, and then, made incident to a cross-correlation device 107 along with the other pulse string bisected by the branching mirror 103. The cross-correlation device converts nonlinear signals generated by making the two pulse strings be incident on a nonlinear crystal 118 to electric signals and outputs them as cross-correlation signals Gc . The difference of a cross-correlation signal voltage and a reference voltage 108 is inputted to an integration circuit 109, a resonator length adjustment mechanism 101 is driven by a driving circuit 110 based on the output of the integration circuit 109, and the resonator length of the laser resonator is adjusted. |
