PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always keep the image forming state well by accurately detecting the deteriorating state and the using state of a two-component developer housed in a developing device and controlling the process condition based on the detection result. SOLUTION: A developer is stirred by controlling a developing motor 14 supplying the rotation to a stirring roller 6b at a constant speed with a constant voltage in a developing device 6. The value of a current flowing in the motor 14 in the case of stirring the developer is detected as a load acting on the motor 14 through the roller 6b from the developer. A correction value is read out from a correction table previously stored in a control part based on the current value and the set value of such a process condition as the output of a transfer charger 9 is corrected. |
