<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel device capable of making dirt such as fine dust stuck to a screen inconspicuous and a display method for the touch panel device. SOLUTION: A table (not shown), in which a processing interval for rewriting color setting on the screen 37 of the touch panel device, the number of times of the processing, color codes corresponding to the number of times, etc., are described, is prepared and lightness, saturation and luminance are adjusted based on the table with the lapse of operation time of the device to thin and display the color of the screen 37 stepwisely.
