PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform initialization processing after the occurrence of paper jamming in a printer. SOLUTION: When the paper jamming occurs in the printer 100, residual paper information is transmitted from an engine control part 2 to an image control part 1. In the case of deciding that residual paper is removed, the instruction of the initialization processing is transmitted from the control part 1 to the control part 2. In the initialization processing, the supply of paper which is being supplied from a cassette is restarted and the paper is ejected to the outside of a machine. When the initialization of a main body is finished, the instruction of the initialization is outputted to optional paper supply parts 102 and 103. |
