PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute uniform electrification even at a unit on the downstream side of a transfer material in the carrying direction, in a tandem type color image forming device using contact electrification. SOLUTION: In the color image forming device, which is provided with plural image forming units 6 (6C, 6M, 6Y and 6K) having photoreceptors 1 (1C, 1M, 1Y and 1K), roll brush electrifying devices 2 (2C, 2M, 2Y and 2K) provided with a linear velocity difference between the devices 2 and the photoreceptors executing uniform electrification by being brought into contact with the surface of the photoreceptor, means 3 (3C, 3M, 3Y and 3K) forming an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the photoreceptor electrified, developing means 4 (4C, 4M, 4Y and 4K) forming a toner image by depositing a toner to the electrostatic latent image on the surface of the photoreceptor, and transferring means 11 (11C, 11M, 11Y and 11K) transferring the toner image on a transfer material 7 and where the plural image forming units are continuously arranged along the carrying direction of the transfer material and that forms a color image by successively transferring the toner image formed for every image forming unit on the surface of the transfer material carried by a belt 10 by the transferring means, the linear velocity of the roll brush electrifying device 2 is made larger as that at the roll brush electrifying device of the image forming unit on the downstream side of the transfer material in the carrying direction. |
