PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-component developing device capable of smoothly supplying toner. SOLUTION: The device is provided with the following components in a developing chamber, such as a developing roller 40 for carrying the toner, a doctor blade 41 for sticking and electrostatically charging the toner on the developing roller 40 and then controlling the layer thickness of the toner, a toner replenishing roller 39 for replenishing the toner to the developing roller 40, a toner stirring member for stirring the toner and the toner remaining quantity detecting means for detecting the remaining quantity of the toner. And, a toner hopper 43 equipped with a toner supply port at the bottom part is installed in the vertical direction above a developing chamber 44, then, the toner of the prescribed quantity is supplied into the developing chamber 44 through the supply port in accordance with the detection signal of the toner remaining quantity detecting means, and a thin sheet 55 is tightly adhered to the inside wall surface of the toner hopper 43 so as to be made slidable, then, the sheet 55 is driven, so that the aggregation of the toner is broken. |
