PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a called standby type duplex system with which a server on standby can be effectively utilized without trouble as a duplex system. SOLUTION: At a standby system server 20, a local disk 21 is connected to a slot #1 to be scanned after a slot #0, to which a shared disk is connected, at system boot time. While a job system service normally works, the logic switch of a disk system uses the connection destination of the shared disk as the job system server of a job mode so that the standby system server 20 starts the system but from the shared disk but from the local disk 21 and is utilized for the other job. |
