PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make specifiable a communicating vehicle among vehicles which pass through the gates of a facility closely to each other, by measuring the arrival angle of a radio wave by an azimuth measuring means and deciding whether or not the arrival angle of the radio wave when a vehicle detector detects an entering vehicle being within a specific range. SOLUTION: When the head of a vehicle traveling on an ETC (automatic toll reception) lane reaches a vehicle detector 1a, the vehicle detector 1a outputs a detection signal S to a vehicle discrimination part 4. Then, when the output of the detection signal T of a vehicle detector 1b is detected before the output of the detection signal S from the vehicle detector 1a stops, the vehicle discrimination part 4 decides that the vehicle is a long-vehicle-length vehicle. Then, the vehicle discrimination part 4 reads the latest arrival angle of the radio wave for DF out of a DF table. When the arrival angle of the radio wave for DF is smaller than a reference angle, the vehicle discrimination part 4 judges that the radio wave was sent by the vehicle and discriminate the vehicle as an ETC vehicle. |
