An applicator for administering a medication comprising a syringe having a syringe cylinder (11) for receiving a plunger. The discharge end of the cylinder has an integral projecting base portion (17) and a first reduced diameter, blunt-tip ped cannula (12) integral with and projecting from the base portion. A second cannul a (13) of reduced diameter and also having a blunt-tip, is detachably mounted on t he base portion. The first and second cannulas have through bores (21, 34) which communicate with each other. A detachable protective cap (14) is provided for covering at least the, second cannula.
