PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a rotary machine with fluid lubrication from starting to a rated rotation due to the operation of static and dynamic pressures by performing arrangement so that the static pressure due to the pressure oil of a pocket part operates on an innerperiphery side from nearly the center of the inner/outer diameter of a thrust pad. SOLUTION: A stoker-shaped flange part is provided at a rotary shaft 1, and a plurality of slide pads 2 are arranged at the lower part. The slide pad 2 is constituted so that it is pivot-supported by a height adjustment bolt 4 and a high-pressure lubrication oil can be lubricated to an approximately 0.1 mm deep pocket 7 being provided at the slide part of the thrust pads 2 from a lubrication hole 8 via a flexible hose 9 from a pressure oil ring 10. Also, a sufficient lubrication oil 11 for dipping the thrust pad 2 is lubricated to an oil bath 3 in advance. A plurality of slide pads 2 are adjusted so that they are on the same surface by the height adjustment bolt 4 being incorporated into a pivot guide 6. |
