Appts. designed to combine two ingredients, one of which is a powder, lyophilisate, liq. or paste and the other a diluent or solvent, consists of a distal container (11) with a closed end (17), and a proximal container (13), each having one end closed by a piston/valve (PV) (19, 24). The (PV) are capable of moving in the corresponding containers and are connected by a transfer rod (15) forming a rigid, sealed and sterile coupling between the (PV) when in the storage position and a sealed and sterile communicating channel between the two containers when in the operating position. The distal container has a cross-section greater than that of the (PV) in the proximal container; the ends of the coupling rod are cut at right angles to its lengthwise axis, and the (PV) have a central zone with a slit (31, 33) which is sealed in the storage position and is opened by the introduction of one end of the rod. |
