The invention concerns the use of compounds of formula (I) and of pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, wherein R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<4> and Q are as hereinbefore defined, against chloroquine-sensitive and chloroquine-resistant pathogens and in the production of corresponding medicaments, furthermore corresponding medicaments and a method of treating malaria in a patient in need of such treatment which comprises administering to said patient an effective amount of a corresponding compound or medicament. |
