Novel compounds represented by general formula (I) which do not act on normal cells but detransform specifically cells transformed by various oncogenes, salts thereof, or hydrates of the same, wherein G1 represents OR<1> or NR<2>R<3> (wherein R<2> and R<3> are the same or different and each represents hydrogen, lower alkyl or hydroxy, or R<2> and R<3> may form together with the nitrogen atom adjacent thereto a nitrogen-containing heterocycle); G2 represents hydrogen or halogeno; when G3 is hydrogen, hydroxy or lower alkylcarbonyloxy, then G4 represents lower alkyl, or G3 and G4 may form together -O-CH2-; and G5 represents OR<4> or NR<5>R<6> (wherein R<5> represents hydroxy or an optionally substituted cyclic group; and R<6> represents hydrogen or lower alkyl). |
