QUARRY VENTILATION METHOD

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves producing dust-laden air flow passing outside quarry by applying blackened coat onto earth surface to provide inflow of fresh air from outside. Blackened coat is applied in the form of strip extending from quarry bottom to its upper edge. Method further involves isolating air layer adjacent this strip by means of sun light transmitting partition wall to define dust-laden air flow passing over isolated air layer and being discharged outside quarry. Thickness of isolated air layer is determined by mathematical expression. EFFECT: improved ecology control and reduced power consumption by utilizing solar energy and eliminating usage of turbofans and, as a result, excluding discharge of waste gases. 2 dwg
