The decoration system for an article (20) includes a frame (10) of thin and flexible material, which can be inflated. It has at least one air chamber (17a). It forms a receiving cavity round the article, and holds the article when inflated. The frame may have a bottom plate or cover plate. The receiving cavity may have a groove round the inside in which the bottom or cover plate can be fitted. The frame may have an upper side and a lower side, to which a bottom plate or cover plate can be connected.
