<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for waterless lithographic printing which has a high resistance to greasing and a high setting-property and is highly suitable, especially for high-speed printing since it does not deteriorate the ink transferability or the gloss of the printing surface. SOLUTION: An ink composition comprises from 0.1 to 10 wt.% polybutadiene having a number average molecular weight of from 800 to 10,000 and from 10 to 45 wt.% rosin-modified phenol resin and/or petroleum resin-modified phenol resin having a weight average molecular weight of from 80,000 to 270,000. Here, the solubility of the rosin-modified phenol resin or the petroleum resin-modified phenol resin, represented by the amount of 14-15C n-paraffin solvent drops (tolerance) required for 1g of 50 wt.% toluene solution of this resin to become turbid at 25 deg.C, is from 3 to 15 ml.</p> |
