PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium and a recording method which can effectively prevent contact between a recording medium and a recording head in a printer comprising the recording head serving to conduct recording in the state of non-contact with the recording medium and means for changing the recording medium carrying direction within a printer. SOLUTION: This recording medium 10 comprises: a recording sheet; a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer provided on the recording sheet, the pressure- sensitive adhesive layer comprising a pressure-sensitive adhesive; and a release sheet provided on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, wherein the pressure- sensitive adhesive is an acrylic crosslinking type pressure-sensitive adhesive contg. a tackifier having a softening point of 70 deg.C or above and, in a holding power test according to JIS-Z-0237, has a time of not less than 100 min in terms of the time elapsed until the sheet drops, or has a time of less than 100 min, provided that, when the time is less than 100 min, the sheet drops due to breaking in the interface of the adherend and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. |
