PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustable throttle valve and its adjusting method, capable of concretizing a yet proper adjustment than the movement adjustment of an armature being achievable in use of a well-known shim. SOLUTION: A throttle valve 24 is installed in a hollow body 12 of an injector 11, and controlled by an armature 27 of an electromagnet 26. A movement of this armature 27 to a side of the electromagnet 26 is formed by a stop member 71 being fittable in the hollow body 12 by a thread part 68, while a screw 'r is screwed in a screw thread 18 of the hollow body 12 by means of calibrated clamping torque, and the movement of the armature 27 to the side of the electromagnet 26 is thus adjusted by this clamping torque. An adjusting method consists of two steps, namely, one is to install the stop member 71 in the hollow body 12 by the thread part 68 and another one is to impart the calibrated torque to this thread part 68. |
