PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a powdery detergent composition that causes no coagulation of powdery detergent particles, while it is stored, readily dissolves in water at 20-60 deg.C in no need of vigorous stirring with high safety and uniformity, when liquid concentrate of the detergent is prepared, and can prevent the washings from changing the color, when the washings are finished. SOLUTION: This powdery detergent composition comprises (a) a water-soluble fatty acid soap component having a Krafft point of 25-35 deg.C and (b) an alkoxylated alcohol nonionic surfactant with an HLB value of 12-15 in an amount of 5-25 wt.%, carbonic salt in an amount of 30-50 wt.% and a water-soluble calcium-capturing builder in an amount of 2-30 wt.% where the weight ratio of the components (a) to (b) is in the range of from 30/70-50/50 and the water content is <=5 wt.%. |
