The stretcher frame, which can be supplied in kit form together with a canvas, is made from aluminium sections with corner and intermediate side fixings in the form of threaded blocks and screws. For long hollow sections it can be equipped with reinforcing bars and spring loaded articulated joints. The frame sections can be packaged in a cardboard, metal or plastics box, with the canvas - suitably protected - wrapped round it.
