<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the coupling quantity received from signal lines and to ameliorate image quality deterioration, such as cross stripes and crosstalks, with an LCD panel by disposing second transparent electrodes via an insulating film under transparent pixel electrodes and forming holding capacitors with the second transparent electrodes and transparent pixel electrodes. SOLUTION: The second transparent electrodes 16 are formed via the insulating film 15 under the transparent pixel electrodes 14 of the LCD panel. The second transparent electrodes 16 face nearly the entire surface of, for example, the transparent pixel electrodes 14, by which the holding capacitance are formed between these electrodes and the transparent pixel electrodes 14. Further, the conventional holding capacitors are added to the holding capacitance by the transparent pixel electrodes 14 and, therefore, the holding capacitors as total are increased. The contact with CS lines 17 is obtd. in the part (outside the apertures) projecting from the transparent pixel electrodes 14. The counter area of the second transparent electrodes 16 to the transparent pixel electrodes 14 is arbitrarily set at need.</p> |
